Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Committees, Worker Health and Safety Representatives and Workplace Health and Safety Designates (Committees/Representatives/Designates) play a vital role in healthy and safe workplaces throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. They work collaboratively to proactively identify and mitigate harm within a worksite. The NL OH&S Act outlines the requirements for Committees/Representatives/Designates in all workplaces throughout our province. Recognized by WorkplaceNL, this course meets the approved provincial mandatory training requirements updated on July 1, 2015.
